Job Summary
A law firm based in Bedfordview, East Rand is seeking a Litigation Attorney to manage civil litigation matters, legal drafting and court proceedings.
The successful candidate will be responsible for handling litigation files, drafting pleadings, attending court and liaising with clients, while ensuring high standards of legal accuracy and professionalism.
This opportunity is ideal for an admitted attorney with experience in civil litigation, High Court and Magistrate’s Court procedures, legal drafting and client representation.
Requirements / Qualifications
Bachelor of Laws Degree and admission as an Attorney
Minimum one year post admission experience in Civil Litigation
Ability to work independently
Strong English communication skills
Experience with Caselines and Court Online
Right of appearance in the High Court advantageous or willingness to obtain
Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle
Stable employment history with contactable references
Residing within commuting distance of Bedfordview
Availability to start as soon as possible
