Job Summary
An engineering and manufacturing company based in Robertville, Roodepoort is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to support production through CNC programming, machine setup and precision machining operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for writing CNC programs, setting machines, operating CNC equipment and performing quality checks on manufactured components. This role is suited to candidates with strong experience in CNC machining, G code programming, manufacturing processes and precision engineering.
This opportunity is ideal for candidates with experience in precision machining, CNC operations, engineering production and quality control within a manufacturing environment.
Requirements / Qualifications
Matric or equivalent qualification
3 to 5 years CNC machining experience
G Code programming certification or formal training
Experience in CNC machining and machine operation
Experience in CNC machine setup and programming
Understanding of precision machining processes
Mastercam software experience advantageous
Ability to read engineering drawings and machining specifications
Skills / Competencies
CNC programming and machine setup
G Code programming knowledge
CNC machine operation
Precision machining and manufacturing processes
Quality inspection and measurement of machined components
Ability to read engineering drawings and machining tolerances
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
